Hawaii @ NMSU Over 75
Hawaii is one of the best offensive teams in the nation, averaging 9.4ypa, and 8.1 ypp for 421 passing yards a game, and 535 total yards a game (to teams who would only allow 236 and 370). NMSu is horrible on defense, allowing 9.6 ypa (to teams that would average 6.7). Hawaii QB Colt Brennan lit NMSU up for 7TDs and 515 yards last season, and he'll go for more tonight as my analysis projects over 550 yards passing, and nearly 700 yards of offense (661 to be exact). I wouldn't be surprised if Hawaii scored on every possession. NMSU is also very good throwing the Football, as 2 nd year HC Hal Mumme's offense is starting to gel. They are averaging 438 yards passing (8.1 ypa) and 508 yards total offense, and Hawaii's less than stellar defense will have a hard time stopping NMSU. My models and analysis project an NMSU range of scores from 28-35. Hawaii gets 50 easily, and I wouldn't be surprised if they get to 60. This total started at 73 and has been bet up 2 points which is odd for totals this high, but after a little homework it is easy to see why. Hawaii wins a barn burner, 58-32, for an easy
